We are all different. Assuming that a system is right and you are broken is not entirely true. Find a system that works for the way you naturally think and learn. You will then have a better outcome. This is what we do at Simply Organized. We ask where you would naturally look for something and try to make that place it's home. We ask you to visualize yourself using this space and what you need at your fingertips and store items there.
There really is no "one size fits all" when it comes to organizing efficiently.
