Before and After!

No one enjoys it when we arrive at the scene for the initial consultation, so please view these before pictures non-judgmentally, just as we do when we visit spaces.

This is very big double stroller we hung on the wall.  The client gained a lot of floor space after we did this.  Plus this is located right next to the vehicle's trunk space.

(This client surprised her husband.  It was her Christmas gift to him!  Now he can actually move around and work.)

No picture here but listen to this happy client:
"I've got the desktop file sorter with the days of the week and "to do" lists like you had and I LOVE IT! I even built in correspondence and have sent letters and cards both Wednesdays since our meeting. This is a huge accomplishment b/c every one of my friends knows that I am the worst about even sending Birthday cards. Then I have the cardboard box similar to yours for my household files. It's the most beautiful file box I've ever seen. The hanging folders are a robin's egg blue and the file folders are the Peter Walsch clear ones. I have all of my tax stuff (current project - this will change) in one of his project envelope things. I have an expandable file with the month tabs for our utilities and a pencil box for receipts (one for the current months shopping receipts and one for tax deductible receipts). I'm so much less frazzled and irritable now. My problem in the past is that I have always gotten too specific with my files and had too many. So I could never figure out where to file something. Just having a monthly pocket for statements is so much easier than having 20 different folders for each type of statement. Now I actually use my files. Before it was too overwhelming."

Here is a playroom for two young boys.  Our client wanted us to do this without her and we worked on it for four hours.

Our favorite aspects of the organized room?  Lots of floor space to play, like items in the same tubs, clear tubs since children can not read, and the way we used the clear shoe boxes to store story books.  Much easier to manage for everyone!  And something you can not see is a shoe bag on the inside of the door, because that's where they automatically store their shoes.  The younger boys shoes are stored in the lower pockets.

This is what we did in 4 hours without our client on site.  After getting everything sorted it's much easier to do the next step which is choosing what to donate, toss, and keep.
