One way you can save money on groceries is by keeping your food pantry organized. Sometimes a pantry is so messy it feels easier to just go buy something on an ingredient list than to look through your pantry to see if you have it already. When you end up with 3 bottles of rice vinegar, each opened and barely used, it's a waste of money and space.
Keep like items together. Store all of your oils or vinegars together. Store all of your canned legumes together, all of your canned cooking soups and broths together. If you keep all of your jarred spices together and in alphabetical order it's quick and easy to double check if you have all the spices for your planned recipes.
